Transcript of Daily Lesson for the 15th of Adar

Ladies and gentlemen, Baruch Hashem, may every one receive together ultimate blessings and victory.

Tonight, Friday night is the 15th of Adar. Shushan Purim who will be celebrated the following day because because of the 15th of their fall on Shabbat. So it's something called Purim Meshulash. The Hayom Yom for the 15th of a day is as follows: It is said of the time to come, "a stone in the wall will cry out and a beam in the tree will respond. At present inert creations are mute, though trodden upon, they remain silent. There will come a time when the revelation of the future becomes a reality, and the inert will begin to speak, relate and demand. "if a man was walking along without thinking or speaking word of Torah, why did he trample upon me?"

The earth trodden upon has been waiting for millennia ever since the six days of creation. All kinds of living creatures have been treading upon it all this time, but it is waiting for a Jew or two Jews to walk on it while discussing Torah, but at de do not say words of Torah, the earth will protest "you too are just like an animal.”

That was for other reason now for Adar Sheini: My grandfather said, again the grandfathers the rib Maharash. My grandfather said that the Mitteler wrote specific mammarim in a special book for every kind of Maskil and Oveid in the Chassidic community. Sha’ar HaYichud and Shaarei Orah, however, are general, written for all Hasidim. Shaar HaYichud is the key to the teachings of Chassidus. Shaarei Ora is the alef-beis of Chassidus.

I think the reason there's so much about the rabim Maharash here for the days of the Purum is because he himself wrote a Megillah. There seems to be an effort here to connect the Rebbe Maharash to various previous Rabbe’im to the Mitteler Rebbe now, to the Tzemech Tzedek and to the Rebbe Rashab, and the focus is also on different writing different books, different ideas.  There is also this idea that the Megillat Esther is also an all-encompassing book. And again, when Mashiach comes, that book will remain. And the first Hayom Yom here certainly touches on Mashiach, the idea that we have to have to learn how to focus. We can't be inert objects. We have to really do our best and learn and grow and fulfill our mission in this world.

In terms of the Kabbalah of Time counting, tonight will be day 167 of the year, so in terms of the 13 Attributes of Mercy, that's going to be day 11 of cycle 13. Again, we are very close after finishing all 13 cycles. So the 11 is Titen Chesed L’Avraham, within the 13th, which MiKedem. Chesed L’Abraham is the idea of treating in a special way and being extra merciful towards those people that are devoted to Hasham like Abraham who go above and beyond. Just like they go above and beyond, we too should go above and beyond with them and cut them some slack.  Sometimes, if in the midst of all their hard work and devotions, they might not act towards us in the way that we would find the best, it is important to have mercy. And we mention how MiKedem is the idea of thinking of people, how they were before as babies as children, before they did anything wrong at all. And so combining both, somebody's already very good person and you can see them as babies even before they did anything wrong at all, that's certainly a way it really a lot of mercy towards them.

In terms of the Sefirot combination, tonight is going to be day six of week 24. That's yesod, shebeTiferer ShebeNetzach, foundation within balance or beauty, within victory or endurance. And I think there these are qualities we find very much in the in the poem story as well with Mordecai.

Oh, I almost forgot when we were talking about the the I spoke about the cycle of 13. Okay, we're kind of going in a different order. I guess it's Purim. And uh, okay, so I guess we'll get to the olive a bit soon. So so far we did the 13 attributes, day 11 of the thirteen now we did the the spir combination. The song, uh we already did it yesterday, the song. let's do from book two. from book two for a week 24. the song is from from Haazinu it says I will link evils upon them. I will use up my arrows on them. I will gather the evil. So I guess positive way of understanding that is that I will gather the evil that was over them and destroy completely my arrows. I'm like and it's derivives which I' use in the past against my people. That would be a positive way of what you're saying that first, I'm very much connected tourim.

The Haftorah from is from the song that King David sang before he passed away. For all his ordins were before me, and as for his statues, I did not depart from it from them.

The quality of this week is Erech Apaayim, slowness to anger, which is also one of the 13 attributes. The prophet is Hosea and the city is Hammot Dor.

So now finally to the Alef Beit combination. We’re in day 13, it's going to be the 13th of 22 day cycle eight, so that the letter Mem within Samech and Ayin, a specific combination for today would be the Samech and the Mem. So spell out “Sam,” a potion/elixir: the Torah is a portion of life or it can be a portion for the opposite. And again, it all depends on how you approach the Torah: approach it with humility, that's one thing, but if you approach it with arrogance and it can actually hurt you, poison you. And you see, actually “Samech Mem” is also an abbreviation for as one of the names of the angel of the opposite of life. This ties into the fight between “Blessed is Mordechai, and “Cursed is Haman.”

Shabat Shalom, Purim Sameach, have a wonderful evening and day.

Purim Daily Lesson Transcript

 B”H

Ladies and Gentlemen, Baruch Hashem!

Tonight is Purim, 14th of Adar. I'm here with Queen Esther, [my daughter], on Thursday night to make a recording.

Thursday night, 14th of Adar, Purium, 5785.

The Hayom Yom for the 14th of Adar is as follows: “My grandfather told my father - so this is the grandfather of the Rebbe Rayatz, so this is the Rebbe Maharash told the Rebbe Rayatz’s father, the Rebbe Rashab - “My father, selected the Maamarim printed in Likutei Torah from among 2,000 Maamarim. Wow.

So now for the second Adar, Adar Sheini: “My grandfather wrote - again this is another reference to Rebbe Maharash - he did not place the sons of Haman in a separate column page, nor de he begin each column page with the word HaMelech. There must be some connection between the Rebbe Maharash and Purim.

The Kabbalah of Time counting for today - tonight is day 166 of the yearly counting, and that would be day 12 of cycle 8 of the 22-day counting. So that would be the letter lamed within the the cycle of Samech and Ayin. The specific combination really is  Lamed and Ayin, which is very appropriate for Purim: “Al” means on top of, over. For example, when Hannah would pray, it says that she prayed Al Hashem, above the name of Hashem, and the idea of “above” is important because today we are so so high, so so high, to get to the level where we can't even differentiate between blessed is Mordecha and cursed is Hamman, because we're above, we're above all all physicality, all these distinctions, it’s just us and Hashem.

Yom Kippur is called Yam HaKipurim, a day “like Purim.” Purim is higher, connected to the to the 50th gate, very, very high. We’re all in one of the very, very highest moments, the times of Mashiacg, where even after everything else has been nullified, the Purim story, the Purim day and the Megillah will remain.

In terms of the Sefirah combination, we are in day 5 of week 24. glory and acknowledgment, within balance or beauty, within victory, endurance. In week 24, it's the fish that are singing. What do the fish sing? The voice of God is upon the waters, the glory of God thunders. God is upon many waters. Rabbi Dosa, the son Hurkanus would say, right this is from Purim: morning sleep, noon time wine, children's chatter, and sitting at meeting places of ignorant, drive a person from this world. Again, these are all things connected to Purim, right? So one of the ways of getting to this level where you're above intellect is morning sleep, another way is to drink wine, noontime wine - it's like really going to perform the Seudah. Children's talk - that’s really what saved us. Mordechai gathered 22,000 children to learb Torah. On Purim we don't differentiate. We're all together on Purim. All these things drive a person from the world because - really important - we’re way, way, way, way above this world.

In terms of the 13day cycles, we are about to finish, complete the entire cycle, we’re cycle 13, day 10. Titen Emet L’Yaakov them within M’Kedem. It’s idea of treating people whatever level they're at, don't hold people to your standard, hold them to to their own standards. and that way you'll be able to be much more merciful towards them. And M’Kedem is the idea that you are remembering people when they were children, before they did anything wrong, before they even knew right from wrong - again back to the theme of the of the of the day. Just appreciate every Jew, appreciate every person, their good qualities. Remember them as children, like what we were talking about before: children's talk, which saved the Jewish people. We're all children - just stop judging each other. Very happy Purim. Have a wonderful evening and day!

The Color Orange

 B"H

In Kabbalah, the color orange represents the attribute of Yesod, while blue represents Malchut. In art, orange and blue and complementary colors, just as Yesod and Malchut are also complementary in Kabbalah. The two reinforce each other, bring out the best in each otber.

It's interesting that orange appears to be the color most prevalent in connection to Gaza: the color of the Gush Katif movement, the color of the movement to release the Bibas family, and the color most associated with the current American president (whether it be the orange vest that became the symbol of his campaign, or simply the tone of his skin).
